1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pledge It (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Use of Service

Pledge It is a public accountability platform. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

You agree not to use the Service to harass, abuse, or intimidate other users; post illegal, harmful, or misleading content; or attempt to disrupt or compromise the Service's infrastructure.

3. Pledges & Public Content

Pledges, comments, reactions, and profile information you post are publicly visible by design. This is a core feature of the platform. You retain ownership of your content but grant Pledge It a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute it within the Service.

Pledge statuses (completed, failed) are determined by deadlines you set. Failed pledges remain visible on your profile. We do not offer grace periods, extensions, or retroactive status changes.

4. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, data preservation, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements. Bot-generated engagement (reactions, comments) is clearly automated and not endorsement.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pledge It and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, reputation, or profits.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your pledges and public content may remain visible.

7. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Oslo, Norway.
